20 June is observed as World Refugee Day (#worldrefugeeday), established in 2000 by the United Nations. This year’s celebrations focus on the power of integration and the inclusion of refugees in the communities where they have found refuge.
As part of World Refugee Day, the Pomorskie Region, together with a wide range of partners, organised a Multicultural Family Picnic last weekend.
It was a unique space for regional integration, getting to know other cultures more closely, and spending time actively in a positive, welcoming atmosphere. We’re still smiling from ear to ear.
