Discover the culture of West Africa! We warmly invite you to the ‘Fusion of Cultures’ workshop, which will take place on Sunday, 8 November 2026, from 1.00 pm to 6.00 pm in Słupsk.
This is a unique opportunity to discover the cultural richness of West Africa and its influence on other parts of the world through shared activities, conversation and learning about different traditions. We have put together a programme combining elements of culture, music and creative play.
What’s in store for you?
- African hairstyles and accessories – a presentation of West African hairdressing traditions and a demonstration of plaiting.
- African proverbs – discovering the wisdom, values and meanings hidden in traditional sayings.
- Rhythms that connect continents – exploring the influence of African music on Caribbean music, using Cuban music as an example, and learning about the polyrhythms of salsa.
Let’s meet and get to know each other better!
‘Fusion of Cultures’ is a space for exploring diversity, discovering new perspectives and spending time together. We believe that learning about traditions from different parts of the world can be an inspiring experience that brings people closer together and encourages mutual curiosity.
