On 21 May 2026, the event entitled “Multiculturalism in Practice - Workshops on Dialogue and Intercultural Integration” took place. Its aim was to promote openness, mutual respect, and the development of dialogue between representatives of different cultures.
The workshops were organized as part of a series of events dedicated to the host society, intended to raise awareness of cultural diversity, support integration, and counteract prejudice and stereotypes.
During the workshops, participants had the opportunity to learn about the traditions, customs, and everyday experiences of people from various parts of the world. The meeting created a space for exchanging experiences and discussing cultural diversity, as well as integration within the academic and social environment.
Students from Medical University of Gdańsk also took part in the event, actively participating in discussions and presenting information about the cultures of their countries of origin. The workshops fostered the establishment of new relationships, the development of intercultural competencies, and the building of an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cooperation.
The workshop was carried out as part of the “Pomorskie WELCOME Center” project.
