On 11 December 2025, the educational meeting entitled “Migration Without Prejudice – Discussing Facts and Myths” took place at the Emigration Museum in Gdynia.
The event aimed to provide reliable information about migration, explain its causes and consequences, and counteract stereotypes and prejudices that often accompany discussions on this topic.
As part of the meeting, Dr. Rafał Raczyński (University of Gdańsk) delivered a short lecture and held an expert discussion with Maciej Moskwa, documentary photographer and reporter. During the event, we also had the opportunity to present our Pomorskie Welcome Center project, along with the related experiences, challenges, opportunities, and tools for cooperation.
In the final part of the meeting, Dr. Kamila Kowalska (University of Gdańsk) spoke with Taisiia Huz and Yana Strakaza, who shared their personal migration experiences.
