Would you like to learn about Slavic traditions and create something special with your own hands? Come along to our workshop on making Motanki, traditional dolls that symbolise good intentions, good fortune and protection.
During the session, you’ll learn about the history and symbolism of Motanki dolls, and then make your own doll using natural fabrics, thread, yarn and other materials. It’s a brilliant opportunity to develop your creativity, try your hand at handicrafts and spend time in a friendly, creative atmosphere.
The workshop is open to everyone – you don’t need any experience in art or handicrafts! The session will also be an opportunity to socialise, chat and learn about traditions through working together.
