On March 28, the next Science Lab was held as part of the "EU-BELONG project: An Intercultural Approach to Migrant Integration in European Regions", co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund of the European Union.
This time, we focused on Psychological First Aid (PFA), particularly in contact with individuals with migration and/or refugee experiences. PFA is a recommended approach that involves providing humane, supportive, and practical assistance to people experiencing serious crisis events.
Participants at the Lab learned, among other things, how to provide PFA, including how to respond to people in crisis:
