On 14–15 June, AER and the Pomorskie Region co-organised the event entitled Knowledge Transfer Event as part of the project “EU-BELONG: An Intercultural Approach to the Integration of Migrants in European Regions”, co-funded by the EU AMIF.
The event included roundtable discussions focused on the implementation of inclusive housing policies in various regions of Europe, study visits and meetings with stakeholders of regional migration policy, a consortium meeting, and peer-to-peer workshops. The highlight of the programme was the conference entitled CHALLENGES OF SOCIAL INTEGRATION. HOUSING – AN ESSENTIAL ELEMENT IN BUILDING INTERCULTURAL SOCIETIES, devoted to the housing crisis and the importance of housing for intercultural societies. The event brought together stakeholders from the project’s partner regions as well as from across the Pomorskie Voivodeship.
Two panel discussions were held, during which we had the opportunity to hear from experts in the fields of migration policy and social housing:
