Representatives of the Regional Center for Social Policy participated in a meeting of the Pomeranian Cooperation Platform organized by the Voivodeship Labor Office in Gdańsk.
The Pomeranian Cooperation Platform is an initiative of 35 organizations involved in assisting and supporting labor migrants in the Pomeranian labor market.
The main topic of the meeting was the global competition for labor resources and the opportunities to attract specialists to the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
We attended interesting presentations by experts from, among others, the Center for Migration Research, UNHCR, and the Central Statistical Office.
During the meeting, Agnieszka Zabłocka, Deputy Director of the Regional Center for Social Policy of the Marshal’s Office of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, presented the results of activities carried out so far under the EU-BELONG project: “An Intercultural Approach to Migrant Integration in European Regions”, as well as preliminary findings of a study on migrant integration in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
