On 23 April 2024, by Resolution No. 501/543/24, the Board of the Pomeranian Voivodeship adopted the document Strategic Plan for Intercultural Migrant Integration in the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
The Strategic Plan was developed within the framework of the international project EU-BELONG: An Intercultural Approach to Migrant Integration in Europe’s Regions, implemented by the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
It consists of two complementary parts: the Strategic Plan for Intercultural Migrant Integration in the Pomeranian Voivodeship and the document Migration Situation in the Pomeranian Voivodeship: Conclusions and Recommendations on Migrant Integration.
The Strategic Plan is designed to strengthen the region’s potential and enhance cooperation with public and private partners, thereby supporting their key role in the integration of third-country nationals. At the same time, it serves as a tool to standardize regional migration policy actions.
The Plan was developed in collaboration with regional migration policy stakeholders, including members of the Multistakeholder Platform and the Pomeranian Council for Regional Migration Policy.
The main goal of regional integration activities is to establish an efficient and transparent system for the intercultural integration of people with migration experience residing in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, based on the principles of equality, diversity, and positive interaction.
We encourage reading the Plan and implementing its provisions in daily activities supporting people with migration experience.
The Strategic Plan in Polish is included in the attachment.
