On 12 June 2026, the Marshal’s Office of the Pomorskie Voivodeship hosted a meeting of partners forming the network of Foreigners Integration Centers. The event brought together representatives of institutions and organizations involved in activities aimed at supporting the integration and inclusion of people with migration experience.
The meeting provided an important platform for exchanging experiences, sharing good practices, and reflecting on the activities carried out so far within the framework of the Foreigners Integration Centers. Participants had the opportunity to present the results of their work, discuss solutions implemented in individual regions, and address the challenges that institutions supporting foreigners face on a daily basis.
A key element of the meeting was a discussion on opportunities for the further development and strengthening of the integration support system in Poland. Participants jointly analyzed the needs of people arriving in our country, explored effective ways of responding to those needs, and discussed directions for future cooperation among network partners.
Initiatives such as this highlight the importance of inter-institutional cooperation, as well as the exchange of knowledge and experience. Through regular meetings, it is possible to develop coherent and effective solutions that support foreigners in their adaptation process, social and professional integration, and the beginning of a new chapter of life in Poland.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants for their active involvement, substantive discussions, inspiring conversations, and willingness to share their knowledge and experience. We believe that mutual learning and partnership-based cooperation remain key elements in building an effective support system for people with migration experience.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Pomorskie Voivodeship Self-Government, the OVUM Association, the Immigrant Support Centre, the Institute for Social Development, the Mazovian Centre for Social Policy, the Lower Silesian Centre of Polish Culture, the Foreigners Integration Center in Zielona Góra, the Foreigners Integration Center in Gorzów Wielkopolski, the Foreigners Integration Center in Częstochowa, and the Cultural Information and Support Offices (BIWK) in West Pomerania.
