Conference: Migration Strategy for Poland and Pomerania

A conference took place in the “Under the Polish Sky” Hall, addressing the main challenges and strategic directions for migration and the integration of foreigners in Poland and the Pomeranian region.

During the meeting, the following were presented:

  • The assumptions for Poland’s Migration Strategy (2025–2030) concerning policies to meet the workforce needs of the Polish economy, providing essential support for labour market development and social security.

  • A diagnosis of the situation of migrants in the context of the labour market and the integration challenges faced by foreigners in Poland.

  • The Strategic Plan for Intercultural Integration of Migrants and the launch of Foreigners Integration Centers in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, which will support new residents in the adaptation process.

  • Gdańsk’s experience as an example of local-level integration initiatives.

The event’s highlight was a discussion panel on the practical implementation of the migration strategy at the national, regional, and local levels, emphasizing the necessity of effective cooperation, complementarity, and coordination of actions.

The event was hosted by the Voivodeship Labour Office in Gdańsk.
