The Foreigners Integration Centres in Gdańsk and Słupsk have been operating for over a year, providing comprehensive support to foreigners in the integration process and helping them adapt to their new environment.

Between 1 June 2025 and 15 June 2026, 5,187 people received support from the Centres, including 4,217 people in Gdańsk and 970 people in Słupsk.

As part of the Centres’ activities, the following support was provided:

  • nearly 5,800 information and advisory consultations,
  • nearly 1,900 legal consultations,
  • over 1,400 psychological consultations,
  • over 580 people participated in Polish language courses,
  • around 50 people participated in adaptation and orientation courses.

The activities of the Centres respond to the growing need for migrant integration support in the Pomeranian Voivodeship. According to available data, 164,756 foreigners live in the region, accounting for approximately 6.7% of the voivodeship’s total population. The growing number of people from diverse backgrounds and with different experiences contributes to the increasing social and cultural diversity of Pomerania, while also highlighting the importance of initiatives supporting integration.

The highest share of foreigners among residents was recorded in Krynica Morska – 22%, followed by Pruszcz Gdański – 19%, Kobylnica and Żukowo – 16% each, and Ustka – 15%.
